Transforming the Iconic Porsche 935: Bisimoto’s Electric Moby X

When Bisi Ezerioha approached us about being part of his all-electric Moby X build, we couldn’t resist. A modern reimagining of the legendary Porsche 935, this project was bold, creative, and unlike anything else at SEMA. We worked closely with his team to build a custom set of Speedhut gauges designed to match the stripped-down, race-focused interior—and seeing it come together in person was something special.
Built on a 1979 Porsche 911 chassis, Moby X is powered by a 32kWh battery delivering 637 horsepower and 701 lb-ft of torque. It’s clean, fast, and silent—but it still makes plenty of noise in the performance world.
The aggressive widebody styling, developed with digital artist Khyzyl Saleem, gives the car a futuristic edge while honoring the original 935 shape. Inside, the cockpit is minimal and intentional. Our gauges—based on a layout created by designer Raf Rani—sit front and center, providing real-time data in a format built for focus and function.
At SEMA, Bisi gave us the full rundown of how this vision came to life. Moby X is more than an EV swap—it’s a statement about where performance is headed and how classic platforms can evolve with today’s technology.
We’re proud to have played a small part in this boundary-pushing build—and we’re already looking forward to what’s next.
